30 Weeks

Today I took yet another Glucose Tolerance test since my last one came back a little high. I know it was the Fruit Loops I ate a midnight the night before... but whatever. This time though the test consisted of a double concentrated sugary drink and blood being taken not once, not twice but 4 TIMES!! It also lasted a whopping 3 hours! And you know I totally have time in my M-F schedule to do that. LOL!

Between blood takings I walked down to my OBGYN's office for my by-monthly appointment. We were lucky because today Nana joined us! It was business as usual... weight, blood pressure and then the fun part... trying to get Ari to stop moving so the Dr. can check his heart rate. Again this turkey illuded her for about 5 minutes. She said, "Do we know boy or girl? Because this kid is stubborn!" Then she said, "I can hear blood in the placenta so someone's in there." Nana and I got a good laugh on that one!! She finally caught him in a very awkward position - yet again. And his heart rate was right on target even with all the sugar pumping to him.

Buddy put together the crib last night, so now we just need to get a mattress. :) And we just figured out tonight that it doesn't fit though the door way. This is a problem you see because he constructed it in our bedroom! I think he did it on purpose so the baby could sleep near us. Tricky Tricky. I'll take a picture once it's all set with the bedding.
